Sudoku Level 1 ( Easy : 36 clues )
1.Look for singletons: Scan each row, column, and 3x3 box to look for any cells that have only one possible number. When you find a cell like this, fill it in.
2.Check for pairs: Look for pairs of cells in a row, column, or 3x3 box that have the same two possible numbers. If you find a pair like this, eliminate those two numbers from the other cells in the same row, column, or 3x3 box.
3.Use process of elimination: If you have a row, column, or 3x3 box that has all but one of the numbers filled in, then you can use process of elimination to figure out what the remaining number must be.
4.Keep track of possibilities: In some cases, there may be multiple possible numbers for a cell. Use pencil marks to keep track of all the possible numbers for a particular cell.
5.Repeat steps 1-4: Keep scanning the puzzle for singletons and pairs, and use process of elimination to fill in the remaining cells.
Here's an example of how to solve a level 1 Sudoku puzzle:
1.Start by scanning the first row. You'll notice that there's only one possible number for the first cell, so fill in a 5.
2.Continue scanning the first row. You'll notice that the third cell has only one possible number, so fill in a 6.
3.Now scan the first column. You'll see that the first cell has only one possible number, so fill in a 3.
4.Scan the second column. You'll notice that the fifth cell has only one possible number, so fill in a 2.
5.Keep repeating these steps, scanning rows and columns for singletons and pairs, and using process of elimination to fill in the remaining cells.
6.Eventually, you'll have filled in all the cells and solved the puzzle!
Remember, level 1 Sudoku puzzles are the easiest level and require minimal logic to solve. As you progress to higher levels, the puzzles will become more difficult and require more advanced logic and reasoning skills.
